Tom and Hazel’s Boswells Coach House wedding was a brilliant fun filled day, full of surprises – the biggest of which was when Hazel’s Dad stood up to deliver his speech. Hazel had been told there was no way her Dad would ever speak at her wedding, the look of shock on her face can be seen below!
Hazel got ready at her parents farm before travelling to the local church in Beith for a beautiful ceremony. Hazel and Tom’s niece loved entertaining all the guests with her antics, including lying flat out on the floor and playing the piano while the Minister was trying to conduct the service!
After the ceremony, Tom and Hazel headed to Boswells Coach House in Ayshire for their reception. Boswells is such a beautiful venue, their woodland wedding marquee is a perfect blank canvas which allows you to put your very own stamp on the venue. Auchinleck Estate, which is home to Boswells Coach House, provides so many beautiful areas for photographs. We used to compete in British Eventing competitions on the estate many years ago so have explored it thoroughly and know some of the best areas for photos! Aly and Rory do a fantastic job of looking after everyone and weddings at Boswells Coach House always run like clockwork.
We sneaked out after the meal for a few photographs in the evening light and to catch the sunset. It is always so lovely to take a few minutes together at this time in the day, all the formalities are over and you are both so much more relaxed.
