Inverness Wedding

Hayley and Barry married in the spring at the spectacular Achnagairn Castle, which is a beautiful Country Estate near Inverness.  Hayley’s family all travelled up from England and Barry’s from the West Coast of Scotland for one very fun weekend celebrating with Hayley and Barry.

Hayley got ready in the Bridal Suite, which has to be one of the nicest bridal suites around, it is so spacious and full of natural light.  She then walked with her Father downstairs to the ceremony in the Ballroom to marry Barry.

The ceremony was an intimate service in the main hall.  During the ceremony they read their own vows then ended the ceremony with a religious blessing from a family friend. It was so emotional and so personal.

The reception was back in the Ballroom, it is such a beautiful room and I love how the couple are announced into the room and walk along the balcony while all their guests cheer below.  Hayley and Barry chose Achnagairn Castle because they could have the place for the whole weekend and they just fell in love with it.

For dinner they served a lovely three course meal, which was absolutely delicious. The first dance was a romantic slow dance to Getting Started by Tommy Ashby, and they finished off the evening with a ceilidh.

Here’s their wonderful wedding!
