FOUNDER AND LITTLE SISTER
I live on a farm in Perthshire with my husband, Craig, our son Jack and our collie, Jess. I photograph beautiful weddings all over Scotland and have been lucky enough to travel as far afield as Orkney and New Zealand to document incredible weddings.
It is such a privilege to share and record so many beautiful emotional moments and create photographs that people really do cherish. There is honestly nothing I would rather be doing and sometimes I genuinely can’t believe this is actually my job!
I get such a buzz from telling people’s stories through photographs and capturing the emotions, reactions, special moments and the atmosphere. I like to blend in with your guests and work away quietly in an unobtrusive manner, one Best Man even described me as a Photography Ninja!
Besides photography… I love being outdoors, have a herd of pet cows who all have names (Eliza Doolittle, Puzzle, VaVaVoom, Maggie), I love bacon rolls, galaxy chocolate, trips to the beach and Janetta’s ice cream. At risk of sounding like a complete hypocrite, I am also a little bit camera shy which means I can completely relate to people who may share my fear!
Have a look around my website, you will find my latest photography adventures over on my blog and please don’t hesitate to get in touch, I’d love to hear from you!
SAY HELLO TO LAURA
ASSOCIATE PHOTOGRAPHER AND BIG SISTER
I’m Laura, Eilidh’s big sister, I have been working in the background with Eilidh since November 2014, I assist in album design, culling, general paperwork and also second shooting.
I first picked up a camera myself in January 2015 to second shoot the Aberdeen Agri Ball. Once I got over the weight of the camera, got my first good candid shot under my belt and discovered new arm muscles, I was totally hooked. I have since second shot several weddings for Eilidh in beautiful venues across Scotland and in 2016 I began shooting weddings solo.
I love to capture all the little (and big!) moments throughout your special day to ensure the story of your wedding day, from start to finish, is reflected in your photographs.
As well as photography and working with Eilidh, I love my Jack Russell Toby and my farmer Husband, Fin… perhaps in that order! I was fortunate to grow up heavily involved in the Equestrian world, mainly Eventing, and have ridden for Scotland at junior level. Horses have been a major factor in my life, until last year when I sold my horse to “become a grown-up” and get onto the property ladder… I am pushing the big 3-0 after all!
